TACO PIE
(serves 8)
Ingredients:
*1 pound lean ground beef
*1 small onion, chopped
*1/2 green pepper, chopped
*2 garlic cloves, minced
*1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
*1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning
*1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
*1 (8 ounce) shredded cheddar cheese
*1/2 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
*1 tomato, chopped
*8 black olives, chopped (optional)
*1 cup salsa (optional)
Directions:
~Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
~Lay crescent roll dough on the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
~Bake according to directions on package.
~While the crust is cooking, in a large skillet or medium heat, cook 1 pound ground beef, 1 small chopped onion, 1/2 chopped green pepper and 1 minced garlic cloves. Cook until hamburg is done.
~Add 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning and stir together.
~Place meat mixture over the top of the crust.
~Spread 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream over hamburger.
~Sprinkle 1 (8 ounce) bag cheese over sour cream.
~Bake for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
~Remove from oven and top with 1/2 head shredded lettuce, 1 chopped tomatoes and 8 chopped black olives.
~Spoon 1 cup salsa over everything.
~Cut & serve.
