MOUNDS CHOCOLATE CHIP CRUNCH COOKIES
(makes 2 dozen)
Ingredients:
*3/4 cup butter, softened
*1/3 cup shortening
*1 cup granulated sugar
*2/3 cup light brown sugar
*2 large eggs
*1 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
*2 cups all-purpose flour
*2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
*1 teaspoon baking soda
*1/2 teaspoon salt
*16 oreo sandwich cookies (I use chocolate), coarsely chopped
*3 (1.75) or 6 (snack ) size Mounds bars, chilled and chopped
*1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
*1 cup milk chocolate chips
Directions:
~Beat butter and shortening until creamy.
~Gradually add in granulated and brown sugars, until light and fluffy.
~Beat in eggs one at a time.
~Beat in vanilla until mixed.
~Add in flour, unsweetened cocoa, baking soda and salt, and then mix until mixed.
~Stir in chopped sandwich cookies and chopped mounds bars.
~Chill for 1 hour.
~Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
~Using a cookie scoop, drop on baking sheet spacing about 2 inches apart.
~Bake for 10-11 minutes (will be barely set).
~Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes.
~Transfer onto cooling racks until completely cooled.
