I have been married to a wonderful Christian man since 1976. The Lord has blessed us with two daughters and two sons. I consider each day the Lord gives me on the earth yet another chance to serve Him.

Dog Birthday Cake

 Well of course your puppy needs a birthday cake.  My pup shared her cake with her neighbor friends.




DOG BIRTHDAY CAKE

(makes 2 small cakes)


Cake Ingredients:

*2 ripe bananas

*1 egg, beaten

*2 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter

*2 cups water

*1 tablespoon baking powder

*3 cups old fashioned oats (or oat flour)

Frosting Ingredients:

*1/4 cup natural creamy peanut butter


Cake Directions:

~Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

~In a large bowl, mash 2 bananas.

~Stir in 1 beaten egg and 2 tablespoons creamy natural peanut butter.

~Stir in 2 cups water.

~In a blender, add 2 tablespoons baking powder and 3 cups old fashioned and blend until oats become a powder.

~Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix until well incorporated.

~Pour mixture into 2 small 6 inch cake pans (or 1 8x8 inch pan).

~Bake for 20 minutes. 

~Remove from pan and allow to cool.

Frosting Directions:

~Spread 1/8 cup peanut butter over top of sone of the cakes.

~Place the 2nd cake on top of the first cake.

~Spread the remaining 1/8 cup of peanut butter over the top of the cake.

No Bake Irish Cream Cookie Balls

 These are not for kids, because of the alcohol in them.   If you like Bailey's Irish Cream, you will love this.



NO BAKE IRISH CREAM COOKIE BALLS

    (makes 20-22 balls)


Ingredients:

*3 cups vanilla wafer crumbs

*1 cup powdered sugar

*1/3 cup light corn syrup

*1/3 cup Irish Cream

*1 (12 ounce) bag of melting chocolates or chocolate chips (white or chocolate)

*Sprinkles or finely chopped nuts (optional)


Directions:

~Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

*In a large mixing bowl, stir 3 cups crushed vanilla wafers and 1 cup powdered sugar.

~Stir in 1/3 cup light corn syrup and 1/3 cup Irish cream until well combined.

~Make balls from 1 tablespoon of mixture (if dough is to sticky, dust your finger tips with powered sugar).

~Melt 1 (12 ounce) bag of melting chocolate or chocolate chips in a microwave (15 second intervals) or double boiler.

~Dip each ball into chocolate and place on prepared cookie sheet.

~Sprinkle a few sprinkles or finely chopped nuts over top before chocolate sets (optional).
